After watching the Netflix documentary 'Sky Ladder', on the artwork of Cai Guo-Qiang,  Dewey Keithly creates portraits and destroys them with gun powder.   He wanted to give the portraits a different look for the 2017 SilencerCo Shot Show Booth.  The images were photographed digitally and printed with a large format Epson Printer.  Dewey then tore and layered prints together with artist glue to give it a more tangible feel.  Dewey then sealed the tears and gaps by burning them with different gun powders.  Shot on iPhone
